WESLACO — The Wildcats poured an avalanche of offense, put up a brick wall in their stunning win against the La Joya Palmview Lobos.

Weslaco East (4-2, 4-2) went on a 48-12 scoring rampage to defeat Palmview (3-4, 2-4).

The Wildcats are currently tied with McAllen Rowe for the fourth spot in the District. The Wildcats’ final two matches are against McAllen Rowe (4-2) and McAllen Memorial (6-0) who leads the District.

Next up for the Wildcats is Brownsville Lopez on Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. at Sam’s Stadium.
